Why did you decide to use Conferences i/o for the Technology Conference?

We used Conferences i/o for two reasons. First, we wanted a way to get to the most relevant questions from the audience. Too often the Òsqueaky wheelÓ questions get the most attention and often take the discussion off topic. Using Conferences i/o allowed us to crowd-source the questions from the entire audience. Second, Conferences i/o provides Social Q&A so participants could vote up the most important questions (even if it wasn't their own), answer each others questions, and even begin discussions. Way cool!

What value did Conferences i/o provide for the event?

The major value Conferences i/o provided was greatly increased audience participation. Being able to see what was on each others minds during the presentation really stimulated conversation and made for a very spirited Q&A period! During the Town Hall meeting, the ability to do on-the-spot polling really added value to the discussions. Another benefit was having the site available after the conference so speakers could answer questions they didn't get to, and attendees could refer back to.

Did your attendees enjoy using Conferences i/o?

We received great feedback from the attendees and speakers alike. The speakers were extremely appreciative that the most relevant questions bubbled their way to the top. The attendees enjoyed the social aspects of the Q&A and knowing what others were thinking throughout the entire session.

Do you plan on using Conferences i/o for future events?

Definitely! Audience participation can often make or break events. Having a tool like Conferences i/o, with the combined power of polling and Social Q&A, ensures that attendees can have the most fulfilling experience possible.
