Each company pitches their product for 5 minutes followed by a 3 minute audience Q&A

How Conferences.IO Is Used

As each company is pitching, audience members are asking and voting for questions that they'd like to have addressed. At the end of each pitch the moderator (Seth Kravitz) uses the 3 minutes to ask the most popular questions, as determined by the audience on Conferences I/O.

Why Did You Decide To Use Conferences I/O For Technori Pitch?

As soon as we learned about it, we were intrigued about how it could solve the problem of dealing with audience responses and questions. Having people shout out answers from across the room or running microphones around is annoying and wastes considerable time.

How has Conferences I/O effectively solved those problems for you?

Now we are able to actually engage the entire audience, rather than a handful of people. Plus, we have eliminated people from hijacking the stage to tell rambling stories or completely off topic questions. Conferences I/O makes the experience of asking our 525 attendees what is on their mind, allowing them to vote for the top questions, and allowing us to moderate all of this from one laptop.

After using Conferences I/O, would you ever consider going back to calling on raised hands for Q&A?

Hell no.
